The Fitch Company has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineering Technician to be based out of our Rumford or Gray, Maine location.

Key Education or Skills:

• AS Degree in Electromechanical Technology or Equivalent work experience. 
• Demonstrated experience in industrial and controls design
• Fluent in electrical schematics and related diagrams
• Experience in troubleshooting, repair and retrofit of machine tools and their control systems.
• Experience in developing scope of work with the direction of project manager

• Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must successfully complete drug screening and background check, including 7-year criminal history check and Motor Vehicle Record check

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment and vibration.
• Must be able to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces. Must be able to climb stairs and walk on metal grating.
• Ability to work in wet and/or humid weather conditions, as well as occasional outside cold, snow and ice conditions.
• Must be able to be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Exposure to loud noise levels and wear protective equipment such as hard hat, safety glasses, face shield, dust masks, respirators, gloves, fire retardant clothing, hearing protection and other PPE as required.
