Dairy Process Controls

Electrical and controls engineering for dairy processing plants

The Fitch Company has designed, configured and delivered control systems for substantial plant throughput expansion for a yoghurt producer in the state of Colorado.  This included system integration from raw milk receiving through the plant filling stations.  Third party systems were provided for two of the plant stages.

Raw CIP and post pasteurization CIP hardware and software development was included for all stages of the process.

Project scope included design and supply of all 7 field mounted food grade control panels, 10 food grade field mounted operator interface panels, 3 variable frequency drive cabinets and one primary processor cabinet.  Engineering scope of work included electrical and control system design, all software configuration, onsite system comissioning and followup support as needed.
